Kitchens and cabinets

Cabinet manufacturing software

A kitchen can be dozens of boxes: carcasses, doors, drawer fronts, panels and fittings. Skuflo labels every one, shows when the whole order is made, and checks it is all on the van, so nothing is left behind on the fitter’s first day.

Skuflo is cabinet manufacturing software for tracking finished pieces: every carcass, door and panel in a kitchen or bedroom order is labelled, scanned when made, and checked again as the whole order is loaded.

From a kitchen order to a complete load

  1. The order comes inUpload the order as a spreadsheet, take it through a retailer portal, or add it yourself. Each line is a product with a size and finish.
  2. Pieces are countedSkuflo expands each line into the boxes it ships as, so a run of base units, wall units and doors all show up as individual pieces.
  3. Every box is labelledOne label per piece, with a barcode and QR code. Labels print as PDF or ZPL II for thermal printers.
  4. Scan as it is madeProduction scans each carcass and door. The order view shows which pieces are still missing.
  5. Load the whole order togetherLoading scans every box onto the load, then the driver signs. Skuflo shows what is missing before the van leaves.

Where kitchen orders go wrong

Kitchens and bedroom cabinets are installed as a whole. One missing end panel or one door in the wrong finish means a fitter standing around, a second delivery and an unhappy customer. The cause is rarely a bad build. It is a box that never made it onto the van.

Because each piece has a barcode and belongs to an order, you can see exactly what is made, what is not and what is on the load. The whole order can be loaded in one go, and the check happens before the doors close rather than after the call from site.

Many carcasses and doors, one order

Set the number of pieces for each SKU once, from a sheet. After that, a large order does not mean a large amount of admin: the production list, the labels and the loading list all come from the same data. The list can be downloaded as PDF or CSV and ticked off as items are made.

If you supply kitchen showrooms, builders merchants or online sellers, each gets a free portal with their own login. They see their own orders, piece by piece, and can place new ones. See retailers, dispatch tracking and the guide to tracking multi piece products.

What Skuflo does not do

Skuflo does not do kitchen design or CAD, it does not produce cutting lists or nesting for your saw, and it has no bill of materials, purchasing or costing. Those jobs stay in your design and cutting software. Skuflo takes over once the order is decided and tracks the finished pieces: labels, made, in stock, loaded, delivered.

It also has no offline scanning today, and the iPhone and Android store apps are coming soon. Scan stations work in any browser, and there is a native Android app for Zebra handhelds.

Simple to start, priced per piece

Pricing is per piece tracked, not per user, with unlimited users and stations on every plan. Plans start at £249 a month for 1,000 pieces, excluding VAT, and there is a 14 day free trial. A big kitchen means more pieces, but you pay only for what you track. See pricing.

Questions people ask

Does Skuflo design kitchens or generate cutting lists?

No. It has no CAD, design or cutting list features. It tracks finished pieces after the order is decided.

Can I label every carcass and door?

Yes. You set the pieces per SKU, and each piece gets its own label with a Code 128 barcode and a QR code.

How do I know a whole kitchen is on the van?

Loading scans each box against the order. The load shows what is scanned and what is still missing before it is signed off.

Can my showrooms or installers see progress?

Yes. Each retailer gets a free portal with their own login, showing only their own orders with status for every piece.

Does it work for bedroom furniture too?

Yes. Fitted wardrobes and bedroom cabinets are tracked the same way: many pieces per order, each one labelled and scanned. See also furniture.
