Barcode label software for manufacturing: one label per piece
Every piece you make gets its own label, printed straight from the orders you have accepted. Print to any printer as a PDF, or send ZPL to a Zebra thermal printer. No label designer to learn.
Skuflo is barcode label software for manufacturing that prints one 4 x 6 inch label per piece, as a PDF or ZPL II at 203 or 300 dpi, with a Code 128 barcode and a QR code on every label.

PDF or ZPL, 203 or 300 dpi
Skuflo prints labels at 4 x 6 inches, the standard shipping label size. Choose PDF if you want to print on an ordinary or thermal printer through the normal print dialog. Choose ZPL II if you use Zebra label printing and want to send the label straight to the printer. Both formats carry the same content.
| Option | Choices | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| File type | PDF or ZPL II | PDF for any printer, ZPL for Zebra thermal printers |
| Resolution | 203 or 300 dpi | Match the dpi of your printer |
| Size | 4 x 6 in | Standard shipping label stock |
| Codes on every label | Code 128 and QR | Handhelds, USB scanners and phone cameras |
Set the dpi to match your printer. If you are not sure, check the printer’s specification before printing a full day’s run.
One label per piece, with reprint, void and remake
A product that ships in several parts needs a label on each part. A divan set made as a base in two parts plus a headboard gets three labels, each with its own barcode. That is what lets you track every piece rather than guessing from a quantity.
- Reprint a label that was torn, smudged or lost.
- Void a label that should never have been printed, so it cannot be scanned.
- Remake a barcode when a piece needs a fresh one.
- Print bay labels for racks, if you use racks and bays for stock on the Growth plan and up.
Test the scanner before you commit
A label is only as good as the scanner reading it. Skuflo works with any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types like a keyboard, a phone camera, or a Zebra handheld. Run the free scanner test on the device you plan to use, with a printed label, before ordering anything. See hardware for what works.
Scanned labels feed production tracking, stock and dispatch tracking, so one printed label follows the piece from the bench to the van.
What Skuflo does not do
Skuflo prints labels for the pieces you make. It is not a general label designer, and it does not create barcodes for raw materials or components. It prints at 4 x 6 inches only. It does not supply printers, so you bring a Zebra or any printer that can take your chosen format.
