Dispatch tracking software that stops wrong loads
Loading day is where mistakes become complaints. Skuflo gives each load a list per retailer, lets several people scan at once, and refuses a piece that belongs to someone else.
Skuflo is dispatch tracking software for manufacturers: it builds loading lists per retailer, blocks pieces from being loaded onto the wrong retailer’s load, and finishes each load with a driver name, photo, signature and signed manifest PDF.
How a load goes out
- Open a loadA load can be for one retailer, several retailers, or any. Record the courier and who is loading.
- Work from the loading listEach retailer has a loading list of the pieces that are made and ready. Scan them onto the van from a Loading station.
- Let Skuflo check each scanSeveral scanners can work on the same load. A piece for the wrong retailer is blocked.
- Complete with a signatureLoading complete needs a driver name, a photo and a signature. Skuflo produces the signed manifest PDF and delivery notes.
Loading lists, loads and several scanners
Loading list software should match how a factory actually works. Several people load one van, pieces come from different bays, and one van often carries orders for several retailers. In Skuflo a load is the van, and the loading list is what should be on it for each retailer.
Every Loading station is locked to that one job. Pair as many as you need with a QR code, on phones, Bluetooth or USB scanners, or Zebra handhelds. There is no per station charge. Everyone scanning updates the same load, so you can see what is on and what is still to come.
| At loading | Without dispatch tracking | With Skuflo |
|---|---|---|
| What goes on the van | Whatever looks right | Pieces scanned against a loading list per retailer |
| Wrong retailer’s piece | Found by the customer | Blocked at the scan |
| Proof of delivery | A signed paper note, if kept | Driver name, photo and signature, stored as a manifest PDF |
| Telling the retailer | A phone call or email | Portal status, delivery notes and webhooks |
Proof of delivery, manifests and delivery notes
When a load is complete Skuflo requires the driver’s name, a photo and a signature. Those become the signed manifest PDF for that load, which you can keep as your record of what left, with whom, and when. Delivery notes are generated as PDFs, and retailers can see them in their free portal.
Because each scan can also carry an optional photo, worker and location, you have a trail for any dispute about what was loaded.
Tell retailers automatically with webhooks
Retailers do not have to chase you. Their portal shows piece by piece status, and on the Growth plan and up Skuflo can also send webhooks to their systems. Events include item.produced, item.dispatched, order.produced and order.dispatched, plus order.updated and order.deleted. Webhooks are HMAC signed and retried for about 24 hours if the receiving system is down. There is also a REST API, documented at developers.
Webhooks, the API, stock and returns are on the Growth plan and up. See pricing.
What Skuflo does not do
Skuflo records what was loaded and signed for. It is not route planning or a courier booking system, and it does not do EDI. It does not replace your courier’s own tracking once the van has left. Scanning needs a connection, as offline scanning is not available today. Use the free scanner test to check a scanner before you commit. Pieces must be made first, so see production tracking and inventory management.
Questions people ask
Is Skuflo dispatch tracking software?
Yes. It builds loading lists per retailer, tracks each load, blocks wrong retailer loads and produces signed manifest PDFs and delivery notes. It does not plan routes or book couriers.
How does Skuflo prevent wrong loads?
Every piece belongs to an order and a retailer. If you scan a piece onto a load for a different retailer, Skuflo blocks it.
Can more than one person load the same van?
Yes. Several scanners can work on one load at the same time, and the courier and loaders are recorded against it.
What proof of delivery do I get?
To complete loading you need a driver name, a photo and a signature. Skuflo produces a signed manifest PDF, and delivery notes as PDFs. Retailers can see delivery notes in their portal.
Which plans include webhooks?
Growth and above. Starter retailers still get the free portal. Prices start at £249 a month ex VAT, with a 14 day free trial.
