Bed manufacturing software
A single bed order can mean a divan base in two parts, a headboard and a mattress, in a particular size and fabric colour. Skuflo labels every part, tracks it through the factory and shows your retailers exactly what has been made.
Skuflo is bed manufacturing software that labels every part of a divan set, mattress or ottoman, tracks each one from production to the van, and gives every retailer a live view of their orders.
From a bed order to a loaded van
- Take the orderA retailer orders in their portal, or you upload a spreadsheet. A line might read “5ft divan set in grey”, with size and fabric colour kept as part of the item.
- Build the production listSkuflo groups items by product, size and colour and splits them by type, so the base team, the headboard team and the mattress team each see their own work.
- Label each partA base that ships in two parts gets two labels. The headboard and mattress get their own. The SKU, description and colour print on every label.
- Scan as each part is madeStations are locked to one job, such as Made, so nobody scans the wrong thing. Add an optional photo if you want proof of finish.
- Load and sign offScan each piece onto the van, record the courier and get a signature. The retailer sees it in their portal straight away.
Built by people who sell beds online
Skuflo was built by the people behind a UK online furniture and bed business, who were tired of chasing factories for news of orders. The questions were always the same. Has the base been made? Is the headboard in the right fabric? Did the mattress go on the same van? Nobody could answer without a phone call.
So the first customers are bed and furniture factories, and the product is shaped by that experience. It tracks what a bed factory actually produces, and gives the retailers on the other end the answers before they ask.
Divan bed production tracking, part by part
A divan set is a good example of why box counts matter. The base can ship as one piece or several. Headboards and mattresses are made on different lines, often at different times. An ottoman base has its own parts again. If you only track the set, you never find out that the headboard is the one thing holding up the order.
| Item | Example variations Skuflo can carry | Labelled as |
|---|---|---|
| Divan base | Size such as 3ft, 4ft6 or 5ft and fabric colour | One label per part it ships as |
| Headboard | Style, size, fabric colour | Its own label |
| Mattress | Size and type | Its own label |
| Ottoman | Size and fabric colour | One label per part it ships as |
Pieces per SKU are set once with a sheet upload. After that, every order for that SKU is expanded into the right number of labels automatically. See SKU tracking for how sizes and colours stay attached to each piece, and the guide to tracking multi piece products for the principle.
Stop retailers chasing you
- Retailers log in to a free portal and see their own orders, piece by piece.
- They can see which parts are made and which are not, with photos if you take them.
- Delivery notes and signed manifests are there when the van has gone.
- Retailers can place orders and upload their own sheets in the same place.
- Webhooks and a REST API are available if they want updates in their own system.
A retailer that buys from several Skuflo factories can see all of them with one login. Read more on the retailers page, or about dispatch tracking.
What Skuflo does not do
Skuflo is not a materials or planning system. It does not do foam, fabric or timber purchasing, bills of materials, costing, accounting or invoicing. It also does not design anything or produce cutting lists. It begins when you know what has to be built, and tracks the finished parts until they are loaded.
Mattress manufacturing software often means a full planning tool. If you need that, keep it. Skuflo sits beside it and covers the floor, stock and dispatch, where orders usually go missing.
Questions people ask
Can Skuflo handle a divan base that ships in two parts?
Yes. Set the SKU to ship as two pieces and every order for it prints two labels. Each part is scanned on its own, and the order is only complete when both are done.
Does it work as mattress manufacturing software?
It tracks finished mattresses as pieces: labelled, scanned when made, stocked and loaded. It does not handle foam or spring purchasing, or cutting and costing.
How are sizes and fabric colours kept on each item?
Items are grouped by product, size and colour on the production list, and the details print on each label, so the right part gets the right finish.
Can my retailers see where their bed is?
Yes. Each retailer gets a free portal showing only their own orders, with the status of every piece, photos if you take them, and delivery notes.
How much does it cost for a small bed factory?
Plans start at £249 a month for 1,000 pieces, excluding VAT, with unlimited users and stations and a 14 day free trial. Counting is by pieces, so a base in two parts counts as two. See pricing.
