An MRPeasy alternative for piece level production tracking
MRPeasy is a full manufacturing system for planning, purchasing and inventory. Skuflo is narrower on purpose: it follows each finished piece from the saw to the van. If you need materials planning, MRPeasy does that and Skuflo does not. If you need to know where every piece is, read on.
Skuflo is production, finished goods stock and dispatch tracking for make to order manufacturers: one label for every piece, scan stations locked to one job, and a free portal for every retailer.
A planning system and a tracking system
MRPeasy’s own website describes manufacturing software for managing production and distribution, aimed at companies with 10 to 200 employees. It lists production planning, inventory, procurement with purchase orders, and a simple shop floor interface for reporting orders and material use. Its pricing page also lists bill of materials management and material requirements planning.
That is a lot of ground. Skuflo covers a small part of it in more depth: the finished piece. Every piece gets a label with a Code 128 barcode and a QR code, is scanned when it is made, can be scanned into a rack and bay, and is scanned onto the van. You always know which pieces of an order are done and which are not. More on this in SKU tracking and inventory management.

See the plans on MRPeasy’s own pricing page. If you have many people who need to scan, the way you pay matters. Skuflo has no charge per seat, so the packer, the driver and the supervisor can all have access. See Skuflo pricing.
Why factories add Skuflo to an MRP system
- Piece level truth. An order is made only when every one of its pieces has been scanned, not when someone ticks a box.
- Scan stations locked to one job: Made, Returns or Loading.
- An optional photo, location or worker name with every scan, so a damage dispute has evidence.
- A signed manifest at loading, with driver name, photo and signature.
- A retailer portal that answers the “where is my order” call before it is made.
When to choose MRPeasy, when to choose Skuflo, and using both
Choose MRPeasy if
- You need one system for materials, purchasing, production plans and costs.
- You buy components and need to know what to reorder.
- You want planning and stock for raw materials, which Skuflo does not offer.
Choose Skuflo if
- Your pain is on the floor and the loading bay, not in purchasing.
- Your products ship in several pieces and parts go missing between making and loading.
- You want many people scanning without a cost for each one.
Using both
A common set up is an MRP system for materials and planning, with Skuflo for labels, scans, finished stock and dispatch. Orders can reach Skuflo by spreadsheet upload or the REST API, and webhooks can tell your other systems when a piece or order is made or dispatched. See the developer docs.
Questions people ask
Does Skuflo replace MRPeasy?
Only if you do not need MRP. Skuflo has no raw materials, purchasing, bills of materials or costing. It replaces manual tracking of finished pieces through making, stock and dispatch.
Can I run Skuflo alongside an MRP system?
Yes. Send orders in by spreadsheet upload or the REST API, and use webhooks such as order.produced and order.dispatched to feed events back out.
How is Skuflo priced compared with a per user plan?
Skuflo is priced per piece tracked, not per seat, from £249 a month ex VAT. Users and scan stations are unlimited on every plan, so adding scanners does not raise the bill.
Do retailers need to pay for the portal?
No. Every retailer gets a free portal with their own login, showing only their own orders and the status of every piece.
Where can I check MRPeasy’s current prices?
On its own pricing page. We read it on 1 November 2026. Prices and plan contents change, so confirm there.
